Terra Chas is a privately managed venture formed in 2013, to leverage on opportunities in agriculture and related leisure activity in the Sri Lankan market.
The company currently manages three idyllically located acreage properties just 35 kilometers (one hour) south of Sri Lanka’s bustling commercial capital of Colombo, in the semi urban beach resort area of Wadduwa.
Current cultivations managed by Terra Chas include coconut, king coconut, cinnamon, ginger, short term fruit and vegetable crops and small scale high value timber with further expansion plans on the pipeline. Terra Chas already produces its own compost fertilizer on site and are committed to further invest in eco friendly, efficient and state of the art agri and water management practises into the future.
The properties have vast potential to open up to guests and Terra Chas plans include providing ‘home stay’, ‘time share’ and ‘unique style’ type of boutique accommodation/ living experiences to discerning visitors.
The company's management team is a highly professional, well credentialed group with a track record spanning the fields of nutrition, agriculture, food manufacturing, finance and operational management in Sri Lanka and Australia.
