Opting for recycled PET instead of virgin plastic significantly lowers environmental impact —it cuts total energy consumption by 75% and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 65%.
With the growing accumulation of PET waste, the need for efficient recycling processes became evident. At Terraloop, we believe that plastic waste is not a problem, but an opportunity. This urgent need is what drives Terraloop’s mission: to bridge the gap between sustainability and economic growth, proving that recycling can be both profitable and essential for the planet.
We use cutting-edge technology and responsible production practices to unlock the full potential of recycled PET (rPET), reducing environmental impact while delivering high-quality products. Located in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, Terraloop is set to begin production in Q4 2025 with an estimate production of 1.000 tons/month, positioning itself as a leader in the circular economy.
