Founded in 1968, it was the base testing center of the enterprises of the military-industrial establishment, developers and producers of marine and terrestrial mobile service equipment. Today Public Enterprise Testing Center "Omega" is technically competent and fully independent testing laboratory and certification body providing testing and certification services of both products and Quality Management Systems to DSTU ISO 9001:2009 requirements. Testing Laboratory Technically competent and independent, being accredited by National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 Standard requirements, by Rosstandard (Federal Agency of Technical Regulating and Metrology, Russia), by Ministry of Transport of Russia, Shipping Register of Russia and Ukraine. Omega is officially approved by COSPAS-SARSAT, International Satellite System For Search and Rescue (Canada), by British Approval Board for Telecommunications (BABT), U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), by the Federal Communications Commission, USA (FCC), by Industry of Canada (IC) and National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA). Certification Body Product and Quality Management System Certification Body accredited by National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine in accordance with EN 45011 and ISO/IEC 17021 Standard requirements. Conformity Assessment Body Public Enterprise Testing Center OMEGA is the Conformity Assessment Body for the products being applied under the requirements of Technical Regulations of Ukraine, which are the analog of EC Directives. Measuring Laboratory Measuring Laboratory certified by State Metrology Inspection and having right to perform measurements of the indices of radio-tail objects put in the operation.
