Decades later he has continued to wow punters and friends with his “silver fox” hairstyle which, despite a brief hiatus courtesy of some black boot polish in a Thai pub (we’ll let Tex himself tell you that story), still remains to be a prominent feature in and around the racing circles of country NSW.
