De Texelse Bierbrouwerij is in 1999 opgericht en gevestigd in een voormalige zuivelfabriek in Oudeschild op het eiland Texel. Sinds 1999 maken de brouwmeesters van de Texelse Bierbrouwerij hun kwaliteits speciaalbieren. Sinds 2007 vindt er export naar het vasteland plaats en is Texels inmiddels landelijk verkrijgbaar in zowel horeca, retail en online. De brouwers van Texels produceren momenteel twaalf verschillende speciaalbieren op beproefde manier, waarvan Texels Skuumkoppe het meest bekend is. Het bedrijf ontwikkelt zich snel en wordt steeds verder geprofessionaliseerd.
