Some companies refer to case studies as Success Stories because they tell the story of how actual customers use their products to overcome real-world problems. Everybody relates to a good story because it appeals to the heart.
A well-written case study educates the prospective customer and validates the claims made in your marketing literature. More importantly, it establishes credibility in your product.
Credibility builds trust, and people buy from companies they trust.
I've been writing for nearly forty years -- white papers, case studies, data sheets, user manuals, advertising, press releases, speeches, newsletters, and training materials.
By far, case studies are my favorite assignments.
