Our mission is to educate and increase the public's understanding and appreciation of choral arts by providing performances of an artistic nature in public places, senior citizens' homes, churches, community centres and educational institutions and by providing conducting and vocal symposiums and community choral workshops on topics relating to such performances. Secondly, to develop a managerial service to promote and develop our next generation, professional, artists as soloists to other arts organizations. Inspired by the outstanding successes of Artistic Director and Conductor, Dr. Noel Edison, a group of people came together to in October 2018 to discuss forming a new all-professional chamber choir. Noel Edison, has long-been recognized as one of the leading choral conductors in Canada for close to forty years. He has produced over twenty-six recordings under the Naxos international label. His former choirs were twice nominated for a Grammy award and twice nominated for a JUNO award. He is the recipient of numerous distinguished awards including the Order of Ontario. Auditions were held in Guelph, Toronto and Elora. Rehearsals began in August 2019 with intensive three-day rehearsal sessions. Under the direction of Noel Edison, these singers quickly became a unified ensemble. The six performances produced last season were met with full houses, great applause and standing ovations.
