Wir schaffen gemeinsam einem Wald, der sich selbst gehört. Und der aus sich selbst heraus wächst.
Stifterinnen und Stifter, Spenderinnen und Spender ermöglichen einen Wald, der nicht gefällt wird, sondern nachhaltig bewirtschaftet und gepflegt wird und daher immer weiter wachsen kann. Entstehende Einnahmen (z.B. durch CO2-Zertifikate, Kapitalerträge oder nachhaltig erzeugtes Holz) werden ausschließlich für die Arbeit der Stiftung verwendet. Mehr Wald für alle.
Nachhaltig erzeugtes Holz spielt eine zentrale Rolle, um klimaneutral zu bauen und Städte in CO2-Senken zu verwandeln.
Die Generation Forest Stiftung ist vom Finanzamt Hamburg als gemeinnützig anerkannt. Dadurch können wir Eure Spenden direkt in klimawirksame Projekte investieren - selbstverständlich könnt ihr dafür eine steuerlich wirksame Zuwendungsbescheinigung erhalten.
Unsere Stiftungszwecke sind:
1) Der dauerhafte Schutz des Waldes, der Umwelt, der Natur und des Klimas.
2) Die Förderung der Wissenschaft und Forschung zum Wald-, Umwelt-, Natur- und Klimaschutz.
3) Die Förderung von Bildung und Fortbildung auf den genannten Gebieten.
Denn neben dem Klima ist für uns die Arbeit mit den lokalen Gemeinschaften und indigenen Gemeinschaften mindestens genauso wichtig.
Mit unserer Arbeit wollen wir Menschen helfen, Verantwortung für das Klimaproblem zu übernehmen und zur Lösung des Problems beizutragen.
Die Generation Forest Stiftung ist 2023 durch die Initiative der "The Generation Forest eG - Community" sowie des Stifters Andreas Eke entstanden.
