Through a passion for logistics and programme delivery in a humanitarian context The Logistics Project (TLP) is a part-time not for profit hobby with the goal of assisting in the improvement of humanitarian delivery through engagement, innovation and people.
NETWORKING
By holding monthly networking events in a social context in London, The Logistics Project aims to bring together like minded individuals from all fields with an interest in humanitarian & health logistics to network and share ideas. With the support and engagement of other industry organisations and prominent individuals, short presentations will provide detail on industry activities
RESOURCES
Learning and development is a continuous process and The Logistics Project seeks to foster the development of humanitarian logisticians by providing an online resource library where documents, reports and studies can be openly shared for the benefit of the community. The resource library will also provide information about consultants and employment opportunities.
TRAINING
The Logistics Project believes that a large part of humanitarian logistics is basic practical field logistics and problem solving. To supplement existing training programmes TLP will operate an annual scenario based field school for those who wish to develop their practical logistics experience.
