From the founder
Hi there,
This is your Founder of The North Eastern Co., thanking you for believing in us. As a child of a former Navy officer, I spent most of my childhood travelling around the country. However, most of our family holidays were spent in my native village in Assam. Gazing at the beautiful tea gardens, there that stretched as far as my eyes could see, learning about them and other exotic products mesmerized me.
I wanted to share the beautiful experience of being right there in a tea estate with the people of my country who were still unaware of the beauty of this place.
What I often observed was that these products were not easily available and when they were, the expenses were too high due to middlemen and lesser accessibility.
So to put my vision into reality, my first step was to create a platform where authentic products could easily be accessed at an affordable price to meet your daily needs, which led to the foundation of TNEC. The journey began by bringing together a community of farmers and a group of tea specialists to cultivate 100% natural and finest grade of handcrafted garden-fresh tea.
Going by my father’s words, I wish to bring this experience to you with complete love and honesty.
