OUR STORY
TheiaMD is a company that was founded by a Los Angeles-based surgeon and his wife, an expert in consumer products. The company was started after the surgeon noticed that many of his patients were not getting the full benefits of hypochlorous acid solutions that were commonly used to treat dry eye and other conditions. The couple began testing and discovered that some of these products did not have the correct concentration of hypochlorous acid and others lost effectiveness after being opened within weeks. In order to provide a better solution for his patients, the surgeon decided to create a generator that would produce fresh solution at each application, and TheiaMD was born.
