I began buying, framing and selling art at the Rosebowl antique market on the second Sunday of the month the year my parents moved to Los Angeles, 1977. My mom raised me in the greatest museums of the world, by the ime I was 12, I had visited over 100 fine art and cultural museums in the US, Europe and Israel.

It was at the Rosebowl that my mom (who was my driver, since I was only 13) brought me a work of art that the cuckoo clock repair guy in the booth adjacent to ours had picked up for $50. My mom and I looked at each other and said, pack up your cuckoo clocks, drive over to the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, about seven minutes from the Rosebowl and as to see the curator.
