The Therapy Gym was created by Matt Brinkley, a former support worker for people with additional needs. Matt soon realised the true benefit of a structured adaptive exercise programme for these clients but opportunities were limited. Since then has made it his mission to make fitness accessible for all.
At the Therapy Gym, we help people overcome barriers and make fitness accessible. The joy of helping people to improve their lives is why we do it.

Visit our accessible, specially equipped Therapy Gym in Holton St Mary or join our Online Training Room from anywhere in the world! You can also book our mobile home visit service.
Exercise and movement programmes are tailored to each clients individual needs, allowing us to monitor progress towards achievable goals together.
Who do we help?
We specialise in helping people who often find it difficult to access exercise and physical activities. Our clients include people with disabilities, life-changing injuries, additional needs, weight issues, age-related conditions and many more.

How can we help you?
You’ll always receive a one-to-one personal assessment first. This helps us create a programme that’s individually shaped to your needs. Then, our advanced, qualified instructors can arrange regular sessions. They use carefully selected and specialist equipment, designed to help you get the most from your exercise and movement programme.
We run regular sessions in care homes for the elderly, disability day centres and residential community homes for the disabled. We can conduct risk assessments for these as needed – please ask us for details.
