Just over three years ago, this adventure began: the quest to find a “Quality Reposado Tequila.”
At Thiago, we realised that in the UK, there has been an outdated and overly conventional perception of tequila. Over the past few months, my two eldest sons, having graduated with degrees in International Business and Psychology have joined this journey, providing fresh insights into our launch, including our vibrant, custom-built website and social media road-map. However, we understand that innovative branding alone is not enough—our product must speak for itself.
At Thiago, we aim to broaden the appeal of tequila, introducing a brand-new drinking experience to the UK while sharing our appreciation for the culture and craftsmanship behind quality Reposado Tequila, complemented by authentic Mexican flavours.
Thiago is a true taste of Mexico, with a modern twist. We've taken a classic and elevated it, creating a bold 40% ABV tequila packed with flavour and blended with naturally sourced ingredients.
Our biggest learning curve over the past two years has been not only understanding the complexities of the international drinks industry but, more specifically, the intricacies of the highly curated and protected tequila industry.
As a family and a business, we are extremely proud to now be officially recognised as a tequila manufacturer by the Mexican government.
In the coming months, we’ll be sharing pictures and stories of our expertly crafted production process in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, the arrival of our first batch in the UK, and other exciting updates from Thiago.
