Door de voorliefde voor krachttraining, en daarmee de interne drive om toch dat stapje extra te zetten, werd dit idee al gauw werkelijkheid. De keukentafel werd omgedoopt tot een inpaktafel en de berging functioneerde als opslag, maar Thor Athletics was geboren. En vanaf dat moment was het vallen, opstaan, leren, hulp vragen en vooral hulp bieden. Thor bleek namelijk verder te gaan dan enkel wat producten verkopen. Thor biedt je de juiste handvatten om jouw eigen kracht te vinden.
In de eerste instantie alleen met gym kleding. Maar na het bijwonen van een powerlift meet, waarop de eerste Thor atleten te zien waren, groeide de wens om hen op meerdere manieren te ondersteunen. Zo volgde de straps, belt en sleeves. Kwaliteit staat hierbij voorop. Maar ook daar stopt het niet. Met de Thor community bieden wij de nodige hulp buiten de 4 muren van de gym.
Thor staat voor kracht, vertrouwen, nét dat stapje extra zetten en de verbinding aangaan. Uiteraard met met behoud een goede dosis nederlandse nuchterheid. Dit is waar wij onszelf elke dag op toetsen en wat wij onze community willen meegeven. Wij geloven namelijk dat in iedereen een kracht schuilt: klaar om ontdekt, ontwikkeld en ingezet te worden. Thor wordt je niet, Thor ben je.
