Mr. Siddhartha Basu is the country's foremost quiz master, television producer-director, author and actor, and Mrs. Anita Kaul Basu is a successful TV producer and entrepreneur. Over the years, they have pioneered platforms of mass participation on a nationwide scale by employing exceptional designs and methodologies. The team’s competencies in show management have been unparalleled in terms of innovative ideas, in-depth research, and state of the art production technology. Together, they have built and led teams which have produced popular, award-winning and acclaimed knowledge based shows on TV for over 3 decades, the most famous of which is Kaun Banega Crorepati (in Hindi and 7 regional languages). Other shows helmed by them include News Wiz, Heartbeat, the Mastermind India series, India's Child Genius, Bollywood ka Boss, Quiz Time and many more. Their non-TV initiatives include an 8 volume series of Know for Sure GK workbooks for school students (with 7mn+ copies sold), and more than 1,500 live quiz events across India and abroad on multifarious subjects for diverse clients. Their latest digital offering is Quizzer of the Year (QOTY), a quiz app on SonyLIV.
