同济大学经济与管理学院 MBA项目始于 1993年，是经国务院学位办首批认定的工商管理硕士专业（MBA）教学正式单位之一。该项目的目标是培养具有全球视野，社会责任感及创新精神，掌握现代经济管理知识和技能，践行可持续发展的业界精英。
自1993年设立以来，以严谨求实的态度探索新知，追求对社会的实际贡献，MBA教育取得了长足的发展，至今累计招生近9000人，毕业生7000余人。目前，同济MBA项目按授课时间分位全日制MBA及在职MBA；按项目特色分为综合MBA项目（普通班、金融班、创新创业班等特色方向班）、全日制IMBA项目、国际MBA项目、同济-曼彻斯特双学位MBA项目（项目管理）、同济-凯斯西储MBA/金融硕士双学位项目（金融）。在同济大学传统学科优势和学院工程管理、服务运营管理和城市发展与管理学科优势的基础上，发挥多学科融合及社会服务的优势，逐渐形成了八大课程模块，其中项目管理与房地产，服务与运营管理和金融三大课程尤具特色。
MBA项目的国际化也在蓬勃发展，依托学院国际化办学的优势，通过与国际一流大学商学院联合培养学生、共同开发课程、选用国际通用教材及国际经典案例，聘请国际一流师资，拓展教师和学员的国际视野。自MBA办学以来，同济MBA已与美国、德国、加拿大、英国、法国、西班牙等26个国家和地区的80所国际知名的商学院建立了合作与交流的关系，平均每年派出愈百名学员赴这些国际著名商学院交换学习和游学，同时招收外国留学生学习和交流。
国际化、专业化、实务化是同济MBA的显著特色，学院及MBA项目已获得AACSB、EQUIS、AMBA等国际权威认证及中国高质量工商管理教育认证（CAMEA认证）。2012-2014年，MBA项目连续三年位列“福布斯中国最佳商学院——中国最具价值在职MBA项目”排行榜前十。2011-2017年，连续七年被新浪网评为“年度最具品牌影响力MBA院校”，2012-2017，连续六年被腾讯网评为“最具社会影响力MBA院校”。
