Trackster is a new tech start-up specialising in designing and developing innovative personal and commercial tracking and monitoring devices. We are also rolling out the first national and commercial IoT (Internet of Things) network using LoRa technology across the UK and Ireland. What is LoRa and it's applications: We at Trackster have chosen to build our national IoT network using LoRa technology, a long range, low power, wireless communication platform. It works by using the unlicensed radio spectrum ISM bands to enable low power, wide area communication between remote sensors, tracking devices and gateways connected to the network. Mobile Phone and WiFi networks connect phones, laptops, tablets but (20 Billion by 2020 globally) with LoRa there's a new smarter kid in town who'll connect everything else (1000 Billion by 2025). Our Network: The project to roll out the first National, Commercial LoRa IoT Network over the next 12 months has started. Trackster will locate external gateways on 7000+ sites all across the UK and Ireland, providing a strong, robust and secure network, with maximum coverage capable of connecting and monitoring millions of commercial and domestic devices. Working with the biggest and best global LoRa technology partners ensures that our network is at the forefront of IoT networking technology, guaranteeing our commercial, industrial and domestic customers peace of mind, knowing whatever they need tracking or monitoring, 24-7, we’ve got them covered.
