Transformations d’algues Seabiosis est une entreprise gaspésienne en émergence, créée en juin 2016 dans la Baie-des-Chaleurs (Québec), dont la mission est de démocratiser la consommation d’algues en Amérique du Nord.
Seabiosis est une entreprise pionnière dans le domaine de la culture et de la transformation des végétaux de mer au Québec et se tient à l’avant-garde dans cette niche alimentaire, notamment grâce à une étroite collaboration avec le Centre d'Innovation de l'aquaculture et des pêches du Québec (Merinov).
Grâce à son réseau de collaborateurs, les opérations de Seabiosis s’étendent de la culture en mer jusqu’à la vente aux consommateurs, en passant évidemment par la transformation des algues en produits finis.
L’entreprise en est à sa première année de production, et est présentement dans une phase de développement de produits à partir d'algues de culture en mer qu’elle récoltera ce printemps.
L’objectif : offrir des produits savoureux, nutritifs, naturels et écoresponsables.

English Version
Seabiosis Seaweed Transformation is an emerging company, created in June 2016 in the Baie-des-Chaleurs area (Quebec), whose mission is to democratize human seaweed consumption in North America.
Seabiosis is a pioneer in Quebec’s seaweed culture and processing industry and is at the forefront of this food sector, in particular through a close collaboration with the Center for Innovation in Aquaculture and Fishery of Quebec (Merinov).
Thanks to its network of partners, Seabiosis' operations range from offshore cultivation to direct sales to consumers, including of course the transformation of seaweeds into consumable products.
The company is in its first year of production and is currently at a product development stage from the naturally farmed sea vegetables it will harvest this spring.
The goal: To offer tasty, nutritious, natural and eco-responsible food products.
