TMB envisions an ecologically sustainable world in which every person’s experience and expression of gender and sex are respected and valued, together with the totality of their identities and experiences.
Our mission is to empower the development of a regional intersectional trans feminist movement, as well as local TIGV (trans, intersex, gender variant) communities and individuals in the Balkans* to actively participate in different social justice movements, contributing to the liberation from oppression based on gender, class, race and other marginalized experiences, together with the recovery of our planet.

TMB's programs:
Empowering Regional Trans Activism
Capacity building for trans groups and individuals (trainings, community events, mentorship, creating and sharing tools and information)
Intersectional, Social, Ecological Justice
Emerged from the need to provide a platform for an intersectional regional movement which is trans-inclusionary, feminist, green, and anti-capitalist. Our Trans Feminist Platform (TFP), and multimedia magazine plaTForma are a part of this program, which aim to empower different voices and create space for networking, as a strategic and organized response to the growing anti-gender, nationalistic, fascist and right-wing movements.
Green Collective Solidarity
Still in development. We aim to have land for creating an ecological, trans-led training and retreat center to nurture social, transformative, intersectional justice movements and our connection with nature.
Queer Culture and Art
We want to deconstruct the elitist binary divisions between activists-academics, activists-artists, and support TIGV people in shaping art and culture in the region, connecting with others in feminist and queer theory, culture and art.
