Centrum Buitengewoon GGZ is een innovatief traumacentrum in Wapenveld, midden tussen de natuur. Binnen ons enthousiaste team werken psychologen, een psychiater, vaktherapeuten (psychomotore-, beeldend- en dramatherapeuten), verpleegkundig specialist, en een hypnotherapeut/ggz-agoog.
De naam Buitengewoon staat niet alleen voor 'buiten het gewone durven stappen', maar ook voor 'buiten heel gewoon vinden'. Wij werken veel buiten, of halen het buitengevoel naar binnen.

• Onderzoek en innovatie voor behandeling van mensen met therapieresistente traumaklachten
Met ons multidisciplinaire team leveren we traumabehandeling met een stevige wetenschappelijke basis en de blik op vernieuwing. Wij staan voor betrokkenheid en doelgericht werken. Waar nodig denken we buiten de kaders en behandelen we voorbij de richtlijnen. We behandelen zowel jongeren als volwassenen met traumaklachten. Primair ligt de focus op behandeling van PTSS, maar ook hechtingstrauma en andersoortig trauma nemen we mee in de behandeling.
