The Earth loses 18.7 million acres of forests each year, 27 soccer fields every minute. It is common knowledge that planting trees is good for the environment. It is now more important than ever to start planting a large number of trees really quickly to reverse the effects of climate change. This is exactly why we started Tree a Day. Tree a Day is a Bamboo toothbrush subscription service which plants one tree every single day per subscription. This means that every morning you brush your teeth you know that today, because of you, one more tree is being planted in the world. Our Toothbrush is made from mosu Bamboo, don’t worry we are not taking away the bamboo pandas eat. Pandas eat a different type of bamboo called arrow bamboo. Our Toothbrush handle is 100% Biodegradable as well as our Cardboard packaging. The only not biodegradable part of our toothbrushes are the bristles. We use BPA free Nylon 6 Bristles. The Eden Reforestation Projects is a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to provide fair wage employment to impoverished villagers as agents of global forest restoration. They hire the poorest of the poor to grow, plant, and guard to maturity native species forest on a massive scale. Their “employ to plant methodology” results in a multiplication of positive socio-economic and environment measures. Our mission is simple: 1. Stop plastic pollution with Bamboo toothbrushes 2. Plant one tree every day per subscription to restore entire ecosystems and reverse the effect of climate change. 3. Provide a steady income to poor communities and families with the help of The Eden reforestation project
