Trek Epic Gap Year is a purpose-driven program designed to guide emerging adults through a transformative semester or year of global travel, mentorship, and personal growth. At the heart of Trek Epic is the belief that every young person has a unique contribution to make—and that discovering their Core Gift and purpose is foundational to their success in education, career, and life. We offer structured gap year semesters built around two immersive, international walking treks: a Launch Trek that begins the journey with intention and a Capstone Trek that brings reflection and integration. Between treks, students engage in a self-directed independent experience such as volunteering, work-based learning, or a cultural internship. Throughout the program, they receive weekly one-on-one mentoring and participate in biweekly cohort meetups focused on life skills, values alignment, and future planning. Our unique curriculum includes the Core Gift Discovery Process, career assessment, and college or gap-year advising. With small cohorts (5–8 participants), individualized support, and curated partnerships (e.g., AdventureEXP), Trek Epic empowers students to grow in confidence, independence, and direction. Programs are offered in both the Fall and Spring semesters, with treks in locations such as Spain, Portugal, Greece, and the UK. Whether students are looking to clarify next steps, take time to reflect, or explore new cultures and perspectives, Trek Epic provides a framework for young adults to walk into their future with clarity and purpose.
