We all learn at a different pace and math class can be quite traumatic for most. At TutorMyMath, we acknowledge these challenges and embrace making mistakes as a vital part of learning.
2. Most Algebra students struggle because they lack certain conceptual number skills related to division. Remember doing pages and pages of long division and wondering when you were ever going to use it? Instead of focusing on computation, we explore the conceptual side of division and tie it directly to concepts that will appear in Algebra. We build our foundational skills, mainly fractions, so we can hit the ground running in College Algebra.
We work with adult students preparing for all kinds of standardized tests and certifications including GED, HiSet, GRE, PRAXIS, TEAS, SAT, and more!
