「台灣雲端物聯網產業協會」現有會員170餘家，有最完整的資通訊產業鏈會員，包括研發法人、電信龍頭、各大硬體製造、軟體開發、系統整合及服務供應等廠商。自成立以來，協助台灣資料中心硬體產業朝系統解決方案及軟體服務的結構轉型，凝聚產業共同發展高度軟硬體整合的雲端系統平台，促使台灣成為雲端運算科技創新基地，一同帶領國內雲端產業走向國際。雲端物聯網產業的特性是—從物聯網到雲端有非常長的產業鏈。雲協呼應會員需求，積極成立SIG（Special Interest Group），聚焦推動包括無人載具、物聯網資安、人工智慧(AI)、XR 智慧時空應用、5G IoT、衛星物聯網等。藉由SIG的分組運作，彙整相關領域的政府政策、商業模式、技術發展等多面向產業需求，提出政策建言與共同開發專案等具體作法；同時也是研究法人與產業間技術產業化的重要平台。簡言之，台灣雲協專注技術產業化，從User需求出發，推動系統與服務，進而搶得機先，為台灣重新定義雲端物聯網產業鏈。
