We are on a journey to create a community of young people passionate about the importance of literacy in the development and growth of the African child. We work hand in hand with our volunteers to effect change through our various community outreaches geared towards supporting children in rural areas in Africa. Our mission is to uplift the lives of African children through education, empowerment, and holistic support. We stand united in promoting literacy and education in underserved communities, ensuring that the seeds of knowledge are sown, regardless of circumstance. We reach out to address the most fundamental needs of our children, offering them access to nourishment and educational resources. But our mission goes even further, it extends to nurturing leadership potential, guiding these young minds to become confident leaders of tomorrow. We envision a transformed Africa where every child's potential flourishes, where they grow into empowered leaders, capable of sparking change within their communities. Our vision reflects a world where every child's dreams are attainable, where they can become architects of their own destinies. And it's not just about individual success; it's about inspiring these young leaders to give back, to uplift those around them, creating a cycle of positive change. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES- Our goals and what we hope to achieve are as follows; 1. UMBRELLA FOR THE AFRICAN CHILD seeks to promote and improve literacy and education in underserved communities. 2. We are also committed to addressing the basic needs of African children, including access to food and educational materials. 3. UMBRELLA FOR THE AFRICAN CHILD aims to nurture and empower the leadership potential of African children by offering one-on-one mentorship and training. 4. UMBRELLA FOR THE AFRICAN CHILD focuses on engaging and developing the skills of African children, by providing opportunities for skill-building, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
