About Us We are a non-profit organization that is using blockchain to providing solutions to the informal sector in Africa. We build to dApps, DAO tools and use decentralized solutions to empower people on the marginal as well as eliminate ‘middle-men’ in African society. The blockchain provides the platform for Africa’s informal sector to put its deep-rooted traditional, cooperative system, and identity using smart-contract and peer-to-peer collaboration for development. The Africa Ubuntu means 'I am because, we are', and the 'we' refers to the extended family that is a private entity and basic economic unit of the African society. The informal sector is the engine for economic growth and employs 90% of youths in Africa, yet the development agenda in Africa and from multilateral development partners seems to ignore the very engine of economic growth in Africa. We are focused on people-centered, participatory technological, and innovative informal businesses using blockchain technology to create the future we want.
