The Veterinary Business Management Association is a student run club at UC Davis SVM with the mission of improving career outcomes for our members. VBMA provides knowledge to its members on a multitude of underlying business aspects of veterinary medicine, while also providing networking opportunities, and helping to obtain vital skills needed to become a successful veterinarian.
We seek to empower our members by helping them develop proper personal and professional skills, financial literacy, communication skills, and leadership skills. Some of our many events include guest speaker lunches, speed networking, and professional skills workshops. Our ultimate goal is to supplement the veterinary curriculum with business knowledge and skills that are so critical in veterinary medicine.
