The Precision For Vision Pre-Optometry Club is a student-run organization at the University of California, Riverside dedicated to unite students interested in pursuing a career in the field of optometry.
We hold general meetings every other week, providing valuable information about optometry schools, OAT, admissions, provide networking opportunities, and give information about UCR pre-requisite courses. We invite optometry school representatives, current OD students, and practicing optometrists of various specialities--giving students much exposure to the field of eye care.
We offer volunteer opportunities such as participating in vision screenings in our local community, visit Tecate, Mexico and visiting optometry schools. Also holds social for its officers and members where members have the opportunity to meet peers and their future colleagues. As a member, you will be able to attend meetings, have priority to attend trips, access to our internship list, etc.
Precision For Vision welcomes members of all majors. If you are a undecided pre-health student or are interested in optometry, meet other like-minded individuals in our organization. Any student is encouraged to contact an officer for any questions they might have.
