La mission d’UGEAFI est d’accompagner les communautés rurales du kivu en RDC et du Sud Soudan vers le bien être à travers les programmes d’éducations, santés et d’agricultures.

De ces besoins, des stratégies d’intervention concertées sont alors décidées laissant alors l’équipe technique d’UGEAFI d’élaborer des programmes et projets répondant aux besoins réels de ses groupes cibles. L’adage suivant est alors au centre des actions d’UGEAFI : Si vous faites quelques choses pour moi sans moi, vous le faites contre moi. Le principe de redevabilité caractérise UGEAFI à toutes les étapes de la gestion du cycle de ses programmes et projets.
