Started by Anthony Stephen Mendes and Aavin Ashta, Uhtend (pronounced the same as attend) is an effort to bring people together to socialise.
Our events are interpersonal where the spotlight is not fixated on one person. Everyone gets to be a part of our curated event and interact with Uhtendees (our subscribers).
We work with venues and brands to host events at pristine locations in the city of dreams with some events being sponsored.
Uhtend eliminates the need for platform fees, reduces scalping, doesn't allow for reselling and creates a user centric approach for attending events.

We are bootstrapped and running as a team of two.
Currently we use platforms to run our company (Gumroad, Dodo Payments, Luma, WhatsApp) but hope to move to an app once we have 5000 registered users in Mumbai.
Our events are mostly open for all. Some events at Uhtend may be limited due to age restrictions and curation format (eg: Women's Day Meetup).
The types of events we currently host are: fan meetups, discussions, board games, sports gatherings, walks/jogs/runs, open mics, etc.
Over the next few years we want Uhtend to be the go-to for event experiences in Mumbai, Pune & Goa with the aim of expanding to every city in India.
We hope to be the first ever event-tech startup to go global and showcase our efficiency in providing affordable yet memorable event experiences.
