UMCG Services is sinds 15 mei 2008 een joint venture van het Universitair Medisch Centrum Groningen en Vebego met als managing partner Hago Zorg, die opgericht is om schoonmaakwerkzaamheden te verrichten in het UMCG. Bij UMCG Services werken ongeveer 230 mensen die samen verantwoordelijk zijn voor de schoonmaak van 260.000 m2.
Schoonmaak in een universitair medisch centrum vereist een bijzondere expertise. Niet alleen vanwege het grote belang van hygiëne en de protocollen die daarbij horen, maar ook omdat de zorg om mensen draait. En juist die twee aspecten spreken ons aan. Onze grote uitdaging: ‘een positieve impact brengen op ieder mens in de zorg’: van opdrachtgevers en hun medewerkers tot en met patiënten en natuurlijk onze eigen medewerkers.
UMCG Services is sinds 2016 een ISO 9001 gecertificeerd bedrijf. Met dit kwaliteitssysteem zorgen we ervoor dat we onze organisatie goed beheersen en dat onze dienstverlening voldoet aan de behoeften, eisen, wensen en specificaties van onze klanten binnen het UMCG.
