Smallholders represent by far the largest group of poor, unbanked people on the planet (525M families, 2B plus people). Interestingly enough, smallholders also represent the potential to create a smarter food supply and true “food security” which is the foundation for all economic growth and a proven path out of the cycle of poverty and the associated problems it causes. Trade, aid, education, and basic access to capital are important services needed to stimulate and sustain economic development. However, these services often times are isolated have limited economic controls, rules, and processes to harvest sustainable development results. The results have led to mass hunger, poverty, inequality, corruption, and the imbalance of trade. THE MARKETPLACE SIZE Aid agencies ($1T) and micro-financiers ($100B), and payment repentance ($400B) organizations contribute over one trillion dollars in capital annually to help solve these problems and impact the 2.5B unbanked, but they are hampered by the lack of local transparency and reporting quantifiable results.
