Wij zijn UniYoung!
Wij mobiliseren jongeren op organische wijze om zich in te zetten voor maatschappelijke doeleinden. Onze overtuiging is dat het talent en enthousiasme van onze vrijwilligers de samenleving om ons heen sterker kan maken. Sinds 2020 inspireren de vrijwilligers van UniYoung dan ook velen met hun positieve houding.
De jongeren van UniYoung zetten zich in voor het algemeen belang en werken ondertussen ook aan hun ontwikkeling: twee vliegen in één klap! Iedereen binnen UniYoung krijgt de ruimte om diverse ideeën in de praktijk uit te voeren. Hierdoor ontwikkelen ze organisatorische, strategische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.
Ons werk levert op verschillende manieren succes op. Zo voelen onze vrijwilligers zich geroepen om zich o.a. in te zetten voor armoedebestrijding, eenzaamheidsbestrijding en andere sociaal-maatschappelijke vraagstukken. Stichting Uni Young vindt dat hiervoor meer belangstelling moet zijn, omdat een ieder zijn mentale en/of fysieke welzijn er toe doet.
