USHAŞ, 663 sayılı Sağlık Alanında Bazı Düzenlemeler Hakkında Kanun Hükmünde Kararname (KHK) ile kurulmuştur. USHAŞ, özel sektör dinamizmini kamu gücü ile buluşturarak Türkiye’yi dünyanın önde gelen katma değerli sağlık hizmeti sağlayıcılarından biri haline getirmek üzere faaliyetlerde bulunmaktadır.
USHAŞ, Türkiye’nin sağlık hizmetleri kapasitesi potansiyelini keşfetmek, geliştirmek ve sürdürülebilir kılmayı amaçlamaktadır.
USHAŞ is established a subsidiary of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health to promote the services offered in Turkey in the field of international health services, to make recommendations to the Ministry on international health services policies and strategies, service delivery standards and accreditation criteria, to support and coordinate the activities of public and private sector related to health tourism. USHAŞ started its operations on 04/02/2019 and its headquarter is in Ankara.
