University of Tehran's Industrial Design scientific student association (UTIDSSA), is an organization based on an annually Free -election among collegians. This organization has been established since 2004 and still is the greatest scientific society in Fine Arts faculty. Scientific Student Association as it sounds from its name, must involve cultural programs raising students' scientific capabilities.
انجمن علمی دانشجویی طراحی صنعتی دانشگاه تهران یک نهاد دانشجویی و متشکل از دانشجویان فعال و با انگیزه این رشته می باشد، که فعالیت های مختلفی از جمله چاپ خبرنامه و نشریه، برگزاری مسابقات با موضوعات و اهداف مختلف، راه اندازی سایت، برگزاری همایش و سمینارهای علمی و آموزش، برگزاری کلاس ها و ورکشاپ های آموزشی در حیطه های مختلف رشته طراحی صنعتی و بینا رشته ای، جذب دانشجویان نمونه، جذب صنعت و همکاری با آن در راستای پیشرفت دانشجویان این رشته در دانشگاه و بعلاوه بالا رفتن سطح طراحی صنعتی در کشور می شود. مهمترین وظیفه انجمن با توجه به جدید بودن رشته، شناسایی خلأ های موجود آموزشی و توسعه روز افزون این رشته در تجارت است، همچنین توسعه فعالیت های اجتماعی اعضا و دانشجویان. یکی از فاکتور های پویایی یک دانشگاه فعالیت های دانشگاهی است بنا براین استفاده از نیروهای فعال در رسیدن به توسعه پایدار در دانشگاه را می توان از مهمترین اهداف انجمن ذکر نمود.
انجمن علمی طراحی صنعتی دانشگاه تهران هم اکنون یکی از فعالترین و پر افتخار ترین انجمن های پردیس هنرهای زیبا و دانشگاه تهران بوده و گواه آن عناوین مختلفی است که در مسابقات مختلف کسب نموده است. ازجمله انجمن برگزیده کشوری در دومین جشنواره ملی حرکت، و کسب مقام اول در چند بخش مختلف این جشنواره ملی در سال های مختلف.
