Utopia Atlanta is an organization shaped for undergraduate students to take initiative in mentorship, leadership, and service at the Atlanta University Center. Utopia Atlanta was founded in 2019 and was later chartered at the campus of Morehouse College in 2020. Our mentorship target focuses on helping high school students get accepted into various colleges and universities in the Atlanta area. By implementing fall mentorship programs at Atlanta Public Schools, we have assisted five high school seniors get accepted into four colleges including Spelman College this year alone. Our leadership target focuses on professional development for our Utopia Atlanta members. Members of Utopia Atlanta have access to participate in resume building workshops, LinkedIn workshops, panel discussions, and interview preparation events. Utopia Atlanta members are also servant leaders of the Atlanta community. Through our service target our mission is to bring an end to homelessness, hunger, and human trafficking in Atlanta, Georgia. Our partnership with Grace Community Food Pantry and Atlanta Mission Homeless Shelters we have brought our goal to end homelessness, hunger, and human trafficking one step closer in the Metro Atlanta area.
