UTV er en samlet betegnelse for en række studenter tv-stationer over hele Danmark, der i perioden 1997-2008 lavede TV af og for studerende på de videregående uddannelser.
UTV sendte i København, Roskilde, Odense, Århus og Kolding, og var medlem af Dansk Student TV forening (DSTV), som var den danske afdeling af Nordisk Student TV forening (NSTV).
Programsammensætningen voksede ud af en forestilling om, at de studerende har, hvad man kan kalde en tv-behovspyramide, som skulle dækkes af nyheder, viden og underholdning.
Udviklingen på UTV skyldtes ikke blot mange års erfaringer, men i lige så høj grad de frivillige medarbejders engagement og visioner.
UTV producerede festival-tv i 2002 og 2003 fra Midtfyns Festival og i 2004, 2005 og 2006 fra Roskilde Festival. I årenes løb udviklede festival-projektet sig fra at være et dansk til at blive et nordisk tv-projekt med 85 studerende fra 15 forskellige studenter-tv-stationer fra hele Norden, der lavede live-tv - døgnet rundt i festival-ugen.
