In 1885, Vittorio Sattui opened a small winery in San Francisco’s North Beach, marking the birth of what would become, after four generations, a storied Italian tradition in the Napa Valley – V. Sattui Winery.
Today, the majestic stone winery sits on a 38-acre organically-farmed vineyard estate and boasts a vast portfolio of 90+ point rated wines, each sold only sold at the winery. V. Sattui is famous for its bustling Italian marketplace, featuring more than 200 cheeses, house-cured salumi, and locally baked breads. Sandwiches, salads, and other artisanal foods are made fresh daily in their own kitchen. Guests may sample wines in a variety of venues and enjoy guided daily tours, elevated wine and food pairings, participate in blending seminars, and picnic al fresco on their sprawling shaded grounds.
V. Sattui wines are sustainably farmed and sourced mostly from their own vineyard estates, yielding a wide range of terroir and varietals that produce a long portfolio of award-winning wines. Under the direction of Winemaker Brooks Painter, V. Sattui wines garnered 200 scores 90 points and above in the last two years alone and has been named Winery of the Year for five consecutive years by the Monterey International Wine Competition and the Winemaker Challenge.
In an area acclaimed for memorable dining, it is V. Sattui’s events and weddings that make it stand out from the rest as a venue offering the best in wine, food, and ambiance. In-house Michelin star chef Stefano Masanti continually dazzles groups, large and small, with his Italian gastronomical creations.
The winery located on a 38-acre vineyard estate in the heart of the Napa Valley and welcomes visitors daily for wine tastings and tours between 9am – 6pm (9am – 5pm winter months), as well as BBQ on weekends during the warmer months.
