VBT Consortium is an architectural studio started by the late Mr. V.B. Thammiah operating in Bangalore for the past 60 years. Being one of the oldest practices in South India, VBT has been involved with some of the landmark projects in the region including the Music Academy in Chennai and the Vijaya Bank Headquarters in Bangalore.
Our rich history has provided us with a diverse portfolio and armed us with valuable experience and in depth knowledge in a wide array of projects. VBT has designed and executed everything from Nuclear Power Plants, Class 10000 Environments, Stadiums, IT Parks to Integrated Townships. Each new project, no matter if it's 5000 s.f. or 5,00,000 s.f., is viewed as a brand new challenge and that enthusiasm runs throughout the company. For the past 15 years VBT has forged associations with prominent architectural practices around the world and that cultural and knowledge sharing has contributed significantly to our growth.
VBT has made a conscious effort to remain a mid-sized firm accepting a limited number of projects every year thereby ensuring our clients get the attention and focus they expect from a top tier firm. In its latest iteration, VBT has taken the approach of integrated design services which provides complete in house design including branding and marketing. This creates a synergy in thought and provides a streamlined product that is appreciable in the market and sets us apart from some of the other leading architects today.
