Verkat is a small winery founded by two sisters who wanted to preserve a family vineyard of Malvasia Istriana located on Fruška gora. At the very start, our production was small, enough to fulfill our family needs. However, as the years went by, the wine and winery became bigger and bigger part our lives. Verkat became something that connects us together as a family, with a place very dear to us, Fruška gora. We produce fine wines from regional varieties, and we are commited to our little mountain, Fruška gora, and our local community in the village of Čerević.
