WHAT'S FOR DINNER? We’ll give you ideas. We’ll give you answers. We all ask that question maybe 365 times a year. And you might get some ideas and examples and strategies —not recipes— here! After all, you can’t just eat lamb chops and Cheetos dinner every night. For example, Mondays are a perfect day to think about your breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for the week, the month, or for sometime in the future. I picked Mondays because my wife, Sara, and I often go to a farmer’s market on both Saturdays and Sundays. We come home with interesting foods or flowers to create something for the next week. We often order dinners delivered to our home on weekends which can provide leftover lunches for a couple days. We also like pizza on Friday night. It’s a regular. What that also means is we don’t have to give much thought to that meal!
DINING OUT Where should we eat out tonight? There are six 3-Star Michelin—think The French Laundry (The French Laundry)—and eight 2-Star Michelin restaurants in the San Francisco metropolitan area alone, with dozens of 1-star, no-stars, and endless mom-and-pops, and other worthy places to catch a bite—think Rockridge Market Hall (Rockridge Market Hall).
WHAT TO DRINK WITH DINNER? Well, still or sparkling water; wine, white or red; a cocktail; a cocktail before the wine; soda pop; and on and on. Beer, wine, brandy, and spirits. We’ll go to great lengths to discover everyday and exceptional.
