VIP Cultural Club is the flagship of Cultural activities based in Sunam that teaches Punjabi Folk Dances and Punjabi culture and performs in various events in the world with the objective to promote Punjabi Culture thorough out the world.It was in the jungles of Punjab where the first rays of civilization had appeared. In this respect Punjab is considered the motherland of dances. From tribals to the kings and eventually republics took shape. These changes left their seals on the sands of time and caused changes in culture also.The exuberance and vitality of the people of Punjab are vigorously displayed in their folk dances. With the drum beat or to the tune of some other instrument of folk music the energetic feet of the people of Punjab are spontaneously set in motion to deliver a folk dance. The drum beat struck the string of the mind continuously in the heart of a young man who is keen to work for his rich cultural heritage and to keep alive maintain and retain the VIRSA in POP. So he shared the flowing thoughts with his friends and this originated VIP(VIRSA in POP) Cultural Club on 21st Feb 2007. And the young man is Mr. Ravinder Singh Dhillon (President VIP Cultural Club).VIP (VIRSA in POP) Cultural Club is the flagship of cultural activities all around the world. VIP Cultural Club is a SUNAM based club committed to spread the culture of Punjab at global level. We teach various Punjabi Folk Dances like Bhangra Malwai Giddha Julli Jhoomar Sammi and many more.Till now we have performed in South Africa China Polland Russia and in various other events in Punjab India.
