MISSION We are an interdisciplinary and internationally engaged practice that pro-actively engages in contemporary design discourse; designing the conditions of life. It is specialized in the field of architectural and urban (research)-projects. It will reverse the traditional architecture practice that re-actively follows market trends, towards a pro-active, socially responsible entrepreneurship that defines it's own unique market and is trend setting. VISION Contemporary architectural practices lack a coherent strategic approach that considers current global changes within the discourse of design. There are four current change-parameters through which global societies are changing that ask for a redefined design implementation: 1 social-cultural values people 2 financial systems prosperity 3 global power divisions politics 4 environmental conditions planet What we need now is a radically updated vision that grasps individual potential together and actively confronts contemporary social cultural issues. We embrace collaboration as a collective tool to implement an integrated design process that provides a coherent framework in developing a sustainable habitat. AMBITION In five years we further enlarge our three folded practice for 1 research lab 2 debate forum 3 implementation studio with 35 employees, involved in practices in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Main office in Rotterdam, potential partner/ branch-office or ‘showrooms’ in China, India, the US and/ or Brazil. The ambition is to change the contemporary design discourse; as a tool to establish social cultural shifts across the globe. The implementation of an innovative office-structure, that works on three levels of social cultural activation, regarding topics about the sustainable habitat. In five years we will also be involved in academic research in a top-university (TU Delft/ Tsinghua Beijing) regarding the architectural discourse, based upon the above-defined change-parameters.
