Vyb launched on the app store in early January after 4 months of growing and testing a private listening community. After being live on the app store for no more than 4 months, Vyb had gained the attention and support of countless high profile artists and company's (Birocratic, Ian ewing, NoC, Disney, and Vayner Sports, to say a few)
It was at this point of promise and opportunity when Vyb suffered from a greed-driven betrayal from a former technical co-founder that led to the service being terminated, and removed from the app store.
With bootstrapped funds quickly turning into larger piles of debt, the project has been put on hold.
It was a good run, and an invaluable learning experience in leadership and trust. To this day, it will be the most gratifying experience many of us will ever have sharing music with our friends.
