Tim Berners-Lee, il fondatore del World Wide Web, diceva: “Il Web è progettato per essere universale: per includere tutto e tutti”; infatti persone di tutte le età possono connettersi ad internet tramite un qualsiasi apparecchio tecnologico, però spesso capita che non si conoscano i rischi legati a questo mondo cibernetico.
Per supportare le “fasce deboli” (ovvero bambini, adolescenti e anziani) nasce la nostra associazione no-profit “WebDefendo”, nata il 24 ottobre 2018 a Salerno, fondata da un gruppo di ragazzi del corso di Informatica dell’Università degli Studi di Salerno accomunati non solo dalla passione ma anche da un senso di responsabilità.
Il nostro obiettivo è informare, vogliamo offrire una conoscenza basilare che possa permettere a chiunque di poter riconoscere e affrontare i pericoli del web, attraverso corsi, seminari, eventi, collaborazioni con il mondo scolastico, universitario e del lavoro, entrando in diretto contatto con gli utenti ai quali ci rivolgiamo.
