• In 2019, WeGeneral have already expanded the business to Europe (in Lithuania) through the development of electronic money and payment businesses. An Electronic Money Institution EMI (or a Neobank) is to be established. We shall have own IBAN code and direct access to the European payment system SEPA. Service coverage includes issuance and redemption of electronic money, transfer, payment execution, remittance, FX, issuing payment instrument and payment acquiring.
• By leveraging of the passporting mechanism of EMI licence, the Group can implement business operation in all European countries and jurisdictions.
