Psychology literally means "study of the soul". Somewhere along the way we drifted away from this original meaning by focusing solely on the mind and behavior, which seemed more objectifiable. With scientification we somehow tried to label and quantify people. Meanwhile, the work of a psychologist to me is much more intuitive. Also I discovered that optimal well-being needs a holistic approach. It requires balance between the body, mind, and soul.
After practicing psychology for years I naturally gravitated towards mentoring, coaching and healing. I learned that most of my clients were perfectly able to heal themselves. They had just forgotten how and needed some clarity, reassurance, and compassion.
So now I focus on guiding people to their internal wisdom, recalibrating their inner compass and awakening them to their own true selves and self-healing abilities.
