Wellness SA offers holistic workplace wellness solutions to South African organizations.
Our main objectives are to create an awareness of wellness issues in the South African business context, facilitate personal change and health management for employees and promote a healthy and supportive workplace in organizations.
Our mission is to allow South African employees to take charge of their own well-being, through our tailor made wellness programs designed based on their individual needs, and managed through consistent monitoring and evaluation. Promoting healthy South African citizens through workplace wellness programs promotes healthy organizations, and in turn, a healthy economy.
Wellness SA was founded by Kelly Michaela Carelse in 2019.
Being a single mother of a two year old boy named Chad; Kelly started the company with the hopes of securing a bright future for her son, and to inspire young South African women to follow their dreams.
Kelly’s educational background comprises an Honours Degree specializing in Organizational Psychology, obtained in 2014 at the University of Cape Town. She has since gained experience as an HR Professional in various industries, including TES Providers and major Global Hotel chains.
She has a passion for both Industrial Relations and Employee Wellness. Kelly is registered as an HR Professional: Generalist, with the South African Board for People Practices and also as a EAP Practitioner with the Employee Assistance Professional Association of South Africa.
