WeQuit is een innovatieve stoppen-met-roken interventie die zich onderscheidt door een laagdrempelige en
effectieve behandelwijze. Tijdens de sessies zijn deelnemers aan het traject thuis of een plek die hen uitkomt waarbij ze via videogesprekken deelnemen aan individuele of groepssessies.Na een eerste kennismaking volgen 6 sessies
met follow-ups na 6 en 12 maanden. Deze zes sessies worden aangevuld met optionele sessies (bijv roken bij somberheid, sociale vaardigheden of gericht op andere comorbide problematiek). Tijdens het traject worden deelnemers al dan niet ondersteund door nicotine vervangende middelen (NVM) of medicatie.
WeQuit werkt evidence based, volgens de zorgmodule stoppen met roken en volgt de laatste richtlijnen. We maken daarbij gebruik van cognitieve gedragstherapie, psycho-educatie en motiverende gespreksvoering.
